About the Role
This position, based in Qatar, involves a strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role that aligns HR initiatives with organizational business aims across the Caspian region, Turkey, and Qatar. The HRBP serves as a pivotal link between organizational functions and HR policies, ensuring that workforce strategies effectively support business growth. Collaboration with regional Centers of Excellence (COEs) is a key aspect to enhance HR practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- Serve as a trusted consultant for HR-related matters within functions and product lines.
- Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, organizational structuring, and capability enhancement.
- Synchronize HR approaches with regional HR teams and centers of excellence.
- Assist recruitment efforts and onboarding processes to secure top-tier talent.
- Identify and nurture critical role succession paths and leadership development tailored to business needs.
- Promote performance management systems aligned with company goals, fostering a culture based on merit and high performance.
- Monitor and enhance employee engagement and retention strategies, addressing turnover in critical areas.
- Offer guidance on compensation competitiveness and internal pay equity, supporting decisions on promotions and retention.
- Lead organizational restructuring initiatives and manage change processes during business transformations.
- Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws and uphold governance across Middle Eastern countries.
- Maintain productive collaborations with Centers of Excellence like Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Information Systems, and Rewards.
- Build and manage relationships with stakeholders both regionally and globally, bridging business operations and HR functions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- A minimum of 15 years in progressive HR roles, including at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner.
- Experience within regional or multinational organizations is preferred.
- Strong expertise in HR practices paired with business acumen.
- Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and influencing at all organizational levels.
- Competency in HR information systems and data analytics tools.
