Courier/DOT Driver

Role Overview

As a Courier/DOT Driver for Federal Express Corporation in Daytona Beach, FL, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver and collect packages efficiently and courteously. This position requires performing package checks to ensure compliance with FedEx shipping service features and delivering customer service as part of daily duties. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.

Schedule

This is a full-time role working Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm (with some shift variation noted at 8:30am to 5:30pm).

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED.
• Valid license for the type of vehicle you will operate.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manage heavier packages using appropriate tools or assistance.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance to maintain positive customer interactions.
• Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations section 391, including passing a medical exam as per FMCSA or FAA standards.
• Non-safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficient reading and speaking of English to interpret traffic signs, interact with safety officials, and respond to inquiries under FMCSA guidelines.
