Courier / DOT Driver

Job Overview

We are hiring a driver/operator responsible for operating company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages efficiently while maintaining courteous service. This role ensures shipments meet FedEx service standards and provides related customer support. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a valid license for the assigned vehicle type.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with assistance or equipment.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to frequent customer interactions.
• Meet Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations as per section 391, including medical exam compliance.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Proficient in reading and speaking English to comprehend traffic signals, communicate with traffic officials, and respond appropriately.

Work Details and Compensation

• Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 2pm to 9pm.
• Compensation: $22.10 hourly rate plus a $2.00 per hour premium for all hours worked.
