Job description
Role Overview
As a courier and operator of non-DOT-regulated company vehicles, you will ensure the timely, courteous, and accurate delivery and collection of packages. Your responsibilities include verifying that shipments align with FedEx's service standards and delivering exceptional customer support throughout your route.
Key Duties
- Operate assigned company vehicles that are not subject to Section 391 federal regulations.
- Perform pick-ups and deliveries efficiently while maintaining professional interaction with customers.
- Verify shipments meet FedEx service criteria and manage related customer service tasks.
- Complete additional duties as required by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum educational qualification of a High School Diploma or GED.
- No previous experience required.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds, and with assistance or equipment, handle heavier loads safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and traffic officials.
- Must be at least 21 years old and demonstrate sufficient English proficiency to comprehend traffic signs and communicate as needed.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
- Maintain neat appearance and remain alert and safety conscious while on duty.
Work Conditions and Legal Compliance

- Employees must adhere to safe driving practices and maintain alertness at all times.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary ranges from $23.16 to $34.39 per hour, depending on experience and job level.
