Courier

About the Role

This position involves providing polite and efficient pickup and delivery of packages along a designated route. The Courier will verify shipments meet service requirements and perform various customer service tasks related to deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up packages accurately and on time on an assigned route.
• Inspect all shipments to ensure they comply with company service standards.
• Perform customer service duties related to delivery operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and manage heavier packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment.
• Preferably one year of customer-focused business experience.
• Completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with required minimum scores.
• Basic familiarity with courier operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service capabilities.
• Ability to multitask, manage stress, and perform well in a high-pressure environment.
• Availability to work flexible schedules including holidays as per business demands.
• For candidates residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.

Additional Details

Wage: $22.60 per hour.
