Job description
About the Role
This position involves providing polite and efficient pickup and delivery of packages along a designated route. The Courier will verify shipments meet service requirements and perform various customer service tasks related to deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up packages accurately and on time on an assigned route.
- Inspect all shipments to ensure they comply with company service standards.
- Perform customer service duties related to delivery operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and manage heavier packages up to 150 lbs using proper equipment.
- Preferably one year of customer-focused business experience.
- Completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with required minimum scores.
- Basic familiarity with courier operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service capabilities.
- Ability to multitask, manage stress, and perform well in a high-pressure environment.
- Availability to work flexible schedules including holidays as per business demands.
- For candidates residing in Quebec, bilingual proficiency in French and English is required.
Additional Details
Wage: $22.60 per hour.
