Job Overview

We are looking for a courteous and efficient courier to handle package pick-up and delivery along an assigned route. This position involves verifying shipments meet Federal Express Canada service standards and delivering excellent customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prompt and professional collection and delivery of packages on designated routes.
• Ensure all shipments comply with Federal Express Canada service features.
• Provide related customer service functions to maintain satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Capability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver packages weighing as much as 150 lbs with proper equipment.
• At least one year of experience in a customer-oriented business setting is preferred.
• Ability to pass mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training is required.
• Familiarity with Federal Express Canada operations and Canadian customs rules is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational talents.
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, cope with stressful environments, and maintain attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and holidays as business demands.

Additional Details

Full-time position located in Manning, Alberta. The hourly wage is $23.30. The role requires operating within a Windows PC environment and completing ongoing training and certifications as necessary. Candidates must have a valid driver's license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) with two or fewer violations or accidents within the past 24 months. Those residing in Quebec must be bilingual (French and English).
