Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous and efficient courier to handle pick-up and delivery of packages along designated routes. The role involves ensuring that shipments comply with FedEx Canada’s service standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform timely and accurate pick-up and delivery of parcels on assigned routes.
• Verify that all shipments meet FedEx Canada’s service requirements.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address queries professionally.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs manually, and handle loads up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Preferred: At least one year of experience in customer-facing business roles.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-employment driver assessment training.
• Basic understanding of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt to changing schedules, including holidays.

Additional Information and Terms

• This is a permanent full-time position with shifts Monday through Saturday starting at 10:00 AM.
• The role requires flexibility to work varying hours and holidays as per business requirements.
• All employees must operate efficiently in a Windows PC environment and maintain relevant training and accreditations.
• If residing in Quebec, candidates must be bilingual in French and English.
• Applicants must have a driver’s license class 5, G, or 1(AZ) with no more than two traffic violations or accidents in the past 24 months.
• Selection will be based on driving record review, interviews, and driver competency assessments.
