Job Overview

As a Courier at FedEx Australia based in Launceston, Tasmania, you will be responsible for the secure, precise, and timely collection and distribution of packages. This involves verifying contents, scanning parcels to ensure order accuracy, delivering high-quality customer service, and safeguarding package integrity.

Key Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles following assigned routes and adhere to strict scheduling requirements
• Confirm package contents through scanning both at pick-up and delivery points to maintain order accuracy
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure that parcels are handled and packed securely
• Promptly report any problems encountered such as delivery issues, damaged items, or incorrect addresses
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Medium Rigid (MR) Truck license qualification in Australia as well as a forklift license
• At least one year of professional driving experience
