Job Overview
This role involves providing professional and efficient pickup and delivery services for packages along designated routes, ensuring all shipments comply with company standards and offering high-quality customer support.
Qualifications and Skills
- Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Capability to lift up to 70 pounds and safely manage packages weighing as much as 150 pounds using appropriate equipment
- Preferred: At least one year of experience in customer-oriented business environments
- Mandatory successful completion of pre-placement driver assessment training
- Familiarity with company operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service aptitude
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage stress, and perform under high-pressure scenarios
- Willingness to work flexible schedules and holidays as needed
Additional Information
- This is an interview-based position requiring various assessments including driver competency evaluations.
- Applicants must be able to operate a Windows PC environment and participate in required ongoing training and certifications.
- If residing in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is mandatory.
- Driver license must be valid (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) with no more than two driving violations or accidents within the last 24 months.
- Shift details include a Tuesday to Friday schedule starting at 10:30 AM and Saturday starts at 9:00 AM.
