Overview

Join FedEx Canada as a Courier, responsible for the polite and timely pick-up and delivery of packages along designated routes while ensuring all shipments adhere to company standards. This role also encompasses essential customer service activities to support operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage pick-up and delivery of parcels on assigned routes.
• Verify shipments to comply with FedEx Canada's service criteria.
• Engage in customer service duties related to delivery operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving history meeting company standards.
• Capable of lifting weights of 70 pounds manually and safely handling packages up to 150 pounds using appropriate equipment.
• Preferred experience includes at least one year in customer-focused business roles.
• Successful completion of mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training with minimum required scores.
• Familiarity with FedEx Canada procedures and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Ability to multitask, cope with stress, and operate efficiently in fast-paced environments.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including holidays, based on operational needs.

Additional Details

This domicile position is open exclusively to candidates residing in Canmore. The role commences at an hourly wage of $23.30. Please note this job requires routine use of PC Windows applications, ongoing training, and annual accreditation maintenance. Candidates residing in Quebec must be bilingual in French and English. A clean driving record with no more than two infractions or accidents within the past 24 months is mandatory. Candidate suitability will be evaluated based on driving abstracts, interview performance, and driver competency assessments.
