Overview

This role involves carrying out prompt and polite pick-up and delivery services of parcels along a designated route. The courier must verify that all shipments comply with FedEx Canada's service standards and engage in related customer service tasks.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Capability to lift weights up to 70 lbs manually and use equipment to handle parcels weighing as much as 150 lbs.
• Preferably at least one year of experience in a customer-focused business setting.
• Successful completion of mandated pre-placement driver assessment and training.
• Basic understanding of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent customer service aptitude.
• Ability to multitask, remain composed under pressure and work in a demanding environment.
• Flexibility to adjust working hours, including holidays, depending on business requirements.

Job Details and Additional Requirements

This position offers full-time employment with a pay rate of $23.75 per hour. The role is subject to various duties beyond those listed, including mandatory compliance with all training programs, ability to operate Windows-based computer systems, ongoing training, and maintaining required certifications. Candidates living in Quebec must be bilingual in English and French. Only applicants with a valid driver's license (Class 5, G, or 1 [AZ]) and a clean driving record with no more than two violations or accidents in the past 24 months will be considered. Assessment will include review of driving records, interviews, and driver competency tests.
