Corporate Planning Manager

Overview

The role is designed to spearhead the formulation and execution of the company's strategic and operational objectives by analyzing business performance, aligning departmental goals with overarching corporate aims, and delivering actionable insights that enable informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in corporate strategy development and planning processes with insightful strategic evaluations.
• Create and refine company-wide statements such as Vision, Mission, and long-term plans covering 3 to 5 years.
• Assess Cyberani's strategic position utilizing analytical frameworks including PESTEL, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces.
• Craft both short-term (1 year) and long-term (3–5 years) business plans.
• Develop, adjust corporate strategies, and establish a comprehensive KPI library linking performance to strategy.
• Formulate strategic goals and initiatives for immediate and extended timelines.
• Serve as secretary to the Management Committee, monitoring corporate actions and progress.
• Organize Board of Directors meetings including agenda preparation and managing all communications involved.
• Conduct in-depth financial trend analyses focused on revenue, cost of sales, and expenses.
• Prepare mid-year and annual corporate reports detailing performance and insights.
• Build scenario planning models to analyze risks and opportunities under varying market conditions.
• Implement a corporate performance management framework to translate strategy into operational execution via KPIs.
• Lead strategy workshops with executive leadership to sharpen priorities and focus initiatives.
• Manage the strategic planning process end-to-end, from setting objectives to tracking progress against targets.
• Engage in market research and analysis to discover trends, opportunities, and potential risks impacting the strategic direction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate diverse inputs for strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and deliver reports and strategic recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, proposing refinements when necessary.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews, presenting insights, performance data, and recommendations to executive management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline; MBA is preferred.
• 6 to 8 years of professional experience, preferably including tenure at a Big Four consulting firm.
• Experience working with strategic planning frameworks and performance management systems is highly beneficial.
• Familiar with corporate governance, KPI development, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Competence in market analysis tools such as PESTEL, SWOT, and Porter's Five Forces; scenario planning capabilities are advantageous.
• Additional exposure to mergers and acquisitions strategy, financial modeling, and feasibility studies is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills suitable for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Demonstrated success in product launches and managing complete product lifecycles.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
