Cloud Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a proficient and driven Cloud Engineer to architect, deploy, and sustain cloud infrastructures that fulfill our company's requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive knowledge in cloud infrastructure, automation, and performance tuning while ensuring the systems are highly available, scalable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructures on platforms including Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), or Google Cloud.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) leveraging tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Continuously monitor cloud system performance, diagnose issues, and maintain 24/7 uptime.
• Carry out routine updates, patch management, and backup operations to ensure system dependability.
• Automate deployment processes, configurations, and daily operations.
• Optimize cloud resources to balance performance with cost-efficiency.
• Implement cloud security best practices encompassing identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
• Guarantee adherence to industry regulations and standards, including those set by NCA and Aramco.
• Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to establish CI/CD pipelines.
• Offer technical support to resolve incidents and enhance user experience.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field or experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering roles.
• Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage concepts within cloud contexts.
• Skillful with automation tools and scripting languages like Python and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Awareness and application of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Possession of cloud certifications like Oracle Cloud Certified Architect Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience managing multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving aptitude.
