Key Responsibilities
The Coordinator will actively oversee and enforce security standards regionally. Key duties include conducting regular threat evaluations, ensuring safeguards across offices, client sites, transport, and accommodations are established and operational.
- Conduct routine control checks and monitor compliance with firm security policies, addressing any gaps promptly.
- Maintain accurate risk and safeguard data in security platforms to monitor safety status continuously.
- Validate incident readiness through assessing preparedness measures such as plans, contacts, and drills.
- Respond to local incidents with escalation as required and participate in global event monitoring and safety communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams (consulting, HR, Technology, Legal, Office Services) and external security partners to translate policies into actionable security protocols on the ground.
- May require availability beyond normal working hours for incident response and urgent monitoring tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in security, risk, international relations, political science, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience in security, project management, or analytical roles within corporate settings preferred.
- Previous residence and work experience in the Middle East within an international corporation or NGO is highly desirable.
- Strong technical proficiency with curiosity and practical experience using AI tools, including custom solution development, is a significant advantage.
- Ability to independently investigate risks and perform structured risk assessments with precise, actionable recommendations.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic, ambiguous situations and under time pressure.
- Highly digitally and data literate with a proactive approach to integrating technology into workflow.
- Exemplify integrity and accountability, with a collaborative, inclusive approach and strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Fluency in Arabic and English at a business level are mandatory.
