Role Overview
As a Mining Operations Knowledge Analyst, you will collaborate closely with client service teams to tackle challenging issues through in-depth analysis and structured insights. Your expertise in the mining sector will support strategic choices and operational enhancements for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform operational excellence assessments at mining sites to uncover opportunities for performance improvement.
- Assist in data gathering, perform quantitative analyses, and integrate findings with field observations to recommend best-practice benchmarks.
- Contribute to enhancing MineLens analytical tools by developing innovative mining data analytics approaches, aiding consulting teams and clients both onsite and remotely.
- Engage in long-term projects that may involve international travel for periods ranging from 4 to 8 weeks or longer.
- Help build and improve internal knowledge bases and support creation of new tools and solutions to broaden MineLens impact.

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Mining Engineering or related fields.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional involvement in mining, specializing in mining operations (open-pit or underground) or mineral processing.
- Deep understanding of mining industry dynamics.
- Demonstrated passion for analytics and eagerness to apply new data analytic methods to operational improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, mining software, and advanced analytics platforms.
- Experience in utilizing Generative AI tools to augment analysis or aid decision-making is advantageous.
- Previous responsibility for independently managing client projects and delivering complex insights to senior client leadership.
- Readiness to work in a fast-paced, results-focused team environment, including travel to remote mining sites.
- Welcoming candidates with international backgrounds interested in relocating to India.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial.
