Role Overview
As a Delivery Driver for Insomnia Cookies' Providence Thayer Street location, you will represent the brand as the essential link between the bakery and its customers. You will be responsible for ensuring cookie orders reach fans efficiently and with a smile, making the delivery experience memorable and delightful.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify order quality and contents before departing the store.
- Transport cookies, milk, and ice cream safely to customers within the service area.
- Deliver excellent customer service through friendly, professional interactions both face-to-face and via telephone.
- Use the company's delivery application to update order status accurately according to internal protocols.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Strong organizational abilities and punctuality.
- Familiarity with the local delivery area (approximately a 2-mile radius) is advantageous.
- Possession of a personal vehicle with valid driver’s license, registration, and insurance.
- Passing a motor vehicle background check is required.
- Ownership of a smartphone with an active data plan for app use.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
