Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic Cookie Crew Members to join our brand new Bethlehem, PA location. As part of the team, you will serve as the face of Insomnia Cookies, interacting warmly with customers while baking and preparing our signature treats.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests promptly and accurately take their orders following company protocols.
• Assist customers by clarifying menu choices and ensuring order accuracy.
• Deliver a friendly and inviting experience in person and via phone.
• Bake cookies, brownies, and prepare ice cream scoops to perfection.
• Package orders carefully for in-store pickup, delivery, and online requests ensuring warmth and accuracy.
• Handle cash and payment operations precisely with no discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of the bakery workspace throughout shifts.
• Support teammates and restock supplies as needed to maintain store efficiency.
• Resolve guest concerns empathetically, escalating to Shift Leader when necessary.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

• Preferably six months or more of experience in a customer service role.
• Friendly, genuine, and outgoing personality.
• Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills.
• Capability to lift up to 40 pounds of product safely.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, and lift, sometimes up to 50 pounds (with assistance).
• Comfort working around ovens, freezers, and in varying temperatures.
• Safe operation of kitchen equipment per company standards.
• Work in a fast-paced bakery setting with moderate noise and frequent guest interaction.
