Role Overview

As a Cookie Crew Delivery Driver, you will be entrusted with delivering more than just cookies—you'll create memorable experiences. Whether it’s for late-night study breaks, birthday celebrations, office parties, or casual treats, you will be the friendly vehicle delivering delightful moments directly to customers' doors. When not on the road, you will assist in the bakery by preparing orders, welcoming visitors, and ensuring smooth bakery operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Insomnia Cookies orders accurately, safely, and with enthusiasm.
• Maintain the quality of each order, ensuring it arrives warm, complete, and impressive.
• Use GPS and delivery apps efficiently while adhering to safe driving guidelines.
• Offer warm and courteous service to bakery guests in between deliveries.
• Support order preparation, packaging, and organization for deliveries and pickups.
• Assist in baking and packaging cookies and other treats as necessary.
• Handle cash register operations and guest transactions.
• Ensure the bakery remains clean, organized, stocked, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with the bakery team to maintain fast, accurate order flow.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming guest experience that encourages repeat visits.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Access to a dependable, insured vehicle in compliance with company standards.
• Current auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
• Smartphone capable of running delivery-related applications.
• Availability for evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

Physical Demands

• Ability to drive safely for extended periods.
• Frequent vehicle entry and exit throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk inside the bakery for long durations.
• Capability to carry and transport orders weighing up to 30 pounds independently.
• Occasional assistance needed for lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, and carrying bakery products.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions during deliveries.
• Ability to work around kitchen ovens, refrigeration units, and moderate noise.
• Effective communication skills with guests, teammates, and supervisors.

Work Environment

The role involves alternating between fast-paced bakery settings and driving on the road. Inside, employees work with baking equipment, refrigeration, cleaning supplies, and ambient noise. Outside, driving occurs under diverse weather and traffic conditions while maintaining safety and adherence to traffic regulations.

Scheduling and Availability

Peak workload periods include evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays. Delivery Drivers need to be available during these busy hours. Specific schedules depend on the location.
