Role Overview

As a Cookie Crew Member, you will be part baker, part hospitality expert, and part late-night hero. Your role involves creating an exceptional customer experience by greeting guests warmly, accurately taking orders, baking irresistible cookies, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. This role demands teamwork, attention to quality, and dedication to the brand's values.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers promptly and provide a friendly, informative interaction about the menu.
• Prepare, bake, and package cookies, brownies, ice cream, and other treats according to Insomnia's quality standards.
• Manage accurate in-store, pickup, delivery, and online orders.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the register with precision.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in the bakery throughout shifts.
• Support team members by restocking supplies and assisting in busy periods to ensure efficient service.
• Address customer concerns empathetically and escalate to Shift Leaders when necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years to be eligible for employment.
• Preferred previous experience in a customer service role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine, outgoing demeanor.
• Effective communication and organizational capabilities.
• Availability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to obtain any required food safety certifications specific to the location.
• Physical ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift, bend, lift up to 30 pounds regularly, and follow safety procedures for kitchen equipment.

Work Environment and Schedule

The position operates within a fast-paced bakery setting, exposed to varying temperatures including ovens and refrigeration units. Typical schedules demand availability during peak hours such as evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
