Job description
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Contracts Manager with extensive experience in the construction sector to join our team in Singapore on a contract basis. The candidate will oversee contract and subcontract administration while working closely with various stakeholders including clients, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of project Quantity Surveyors effectively.
- Carry out presentations and cost evaluations for management review independently.
- Collaborate intimately with technical teams and execute management directives.
- Manage relationships and communications with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
- Administer subcontract and contract documentation and processes thoroughly.
- Interpret and critically assess engineering documents including specifications, drawings, and scopes of work.
- Perform quantity take-offs and solicit quotations as needed.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities along with detailed pricing breakdowns, cost comparisons, and summarise all costs.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with leadership skills to manage a team.
