Job Overview
This role involves managing and enhancing the organization's total rewards programs by crafting compensation strategies, overseeing salary structures, and conducting comprehensive market and internal equity analyses. The Compensation Benefits Manager provides expert guidance to HR business partners and leadership on remuneration matters, ensuring policy compliance and contributing to organizational design initiatives.
Primary Duties
- Design and regularly update salary structures, wage bands, allowances, and benefits schemes to maintain fairness within the company and competitiveness externally while aligning with company compensation philosophy.
- Oversee the full cycle of employee rewards, including handling salary increments, bonuses, reward matrices, and ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Conduct job evaluations using standardized methodologies, maintain grading frameworks, and facilitate governance committees to maintain consistent application.
- Analyze compensation data both internally for equity and externally through market benchmarks such as Korn Ferry and Mercer, providing insights and recommendations for pay positioning.
- Develop and enforce compensation policies that align with governance requirements; support audits, risk evaluations, and ensure compliance with HR data standards.
- Support organizational restructuring and workforce planning by analyzing compensation, grading implications, and associated costs.
- Create dashboards and detailed reports for leadership and governance forums to clearly communicate reward trends and cost factors.
- Work collaboratively with HR business partners and department leaders to resolve compensation-related queries and offer advisory support for salary decisions, promotions, and transfers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in HR or recognized certifications such as CIPD, SHRM, or Certified Compensation & Benefits Professional.
- A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in Compensation & Benefits, Total Rewards, HR Rewards, or HR Analytics is expected.
