Job description
Job Overview
This role serves as a crucial communication bridge between internal customers and the supply chain departments such as planning and logistics. The specialist is charged with overseeing stock analyses focusing on overstock, damaged, and expired items, and facilitating pre-issue stock preparations and processing within the system to maintain inventory accuracy and operational seamlessness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate coordination and open communication between stores and supply chain teams for timely resolution of operational challenges and to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Conduct detailed analyses of inventory status including surpluses, damage, and expiry to assist in informed, loss-reducing inventory decisions.
- Prepare and operationalize pre-issues and stock adjustments into the inventory management system to uphold accurate stock records.
- Address internal customer queries regarding supply chain operations promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Track and communicate recurrent store issues to support ongoing improvements in logistics and planning workflows.
- Work closely with logistics, planning, and inventory control to guarantee timely handling of stock movements, replenishments, and corrections.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on store requests, stock changes, and problem resolutions to ensure traceability and adherence to company protocols.
- Recognize and escalate urgent operational issues requiring immediate attention to avoid disruption.
- Contribute to system enhancements and process optimizations to improve helpdesk efficiency, accuracy, and overall stakeholder experience.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, industrial engineering, or an allied field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant business experience.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead cross-functional teams and supervise personnel.
- Well-developed analytical and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work execution.
- Keen awareness of data variations and their implications.
- Strong time management skills to handle workload and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic languages.
Additional Information
This position is not open for candidates with special needs. It is full-time and requires working onsite in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
