About the Role
This position is based at Anantara Downtown Dubai, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, a global luxury hospitality brand inspired by Thai culture. Established in 2001 in Thailand, the brand celebrates warmth and genuine hospitality while operating in some of the world's most remarkable locations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and service, including preparing mise en place for various outlets as necessary.
- Follow Anantara’s food preparation and presentation standards ensuring consistent and exceptional culinary quality; proactively suggest enhancements to these standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas to uphold a sanitary working environment.
- Ensure proper food safety compliance in all areas, including correct food handling, labeling, storage, and rotation, together with basic sanitation practices.
- Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of all hotel property, kitchen equipment, and facilities.
- Engage in departmental training to advance culinary skills and contribute to higher service quality.
- Follow departmental checklists and cleaning schedules to ensure operational standards are met.
- Support events, banquets, and special functions as assigned.
- Adhere strictly to personal hygiene and grooming guidelines, fire safety rules, and all health and safety regulations.
