Established in 1928, Tremco CPG has been a worldwide leader in addressing complex waterproofing and roofing challenges. Weatherproofing Technologies Canada (WTC), Tremco's service branch, is currently recruiting skilled Commercial Roofing Technicians for projects based in the Calgary area.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

• Perform installation of various low-slope roofing systems, including built-up roofing (BUR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), single-ply membranes, coatings, and safety systems under the supervision of a Foreman.
• Ensure all tasks are executed adhering strictly to applicable health and safety laws and company standards.
• Conduct routine quality assurance and maintenance inspections using appropriate diagnostic instruments and tools; identify and record issues, then communicate recommendations to maintain system efficiency.
• Operate equipment and tools safely, complying with provincial safety regulations and organizational guidelines.

Qualifications and Work Requirements

• Possess a minimum of two years of hands-on commercial roofing experience, primarily with flat or low-slope roof systems; experience with steep-slope roofs is also taken into consideration.
• Capable of working at elevated heights and able to lift weights up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% to 35% within the region and accommodate flexible working hours during busy periods.
• Strong communication abilities and a commitment to teamwork.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with dependable transportation; having a truck is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The hourly wage ranges between $29.00 and $44.00, dependent on experience, skill level, internal equity, and market conditions.
