About Tremco CPG
Tremco CPG has been at the forefront of addressing complex waterproofing and roofing challenges globally since 1928. Its Canadian service division, Weatherproofing Technologies Canada (WTC), currently seeks skilled Commercial Roofing Technicians to contribute to projects in the Vancouver area.
Job Responsibilities
- Install various low-slope roofing systems such as Built-Up Roofing (BUR), EPDM, single-ply membranes, coatings, and safety systems under the guidance of a Foreman, ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Carry out quality assurance inspections and routine maintenance using appropriate diagnostic tools to identify and document issues, providing recommendations to maintain system functionality.
- Handle tools and equipment safely according to company policies and provincial safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Possess at least two years of professional experience in commercial roofing, primarily focusing on flat or low-slope systems, though steep-slope expertise will also be considered.
- Capable of working at elevations and lifting materials weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Willing to travel between 25% and 35% within the region and work flexible hours during peak periods.
- Exhibit strong communication abilities and effective teamwork.
- Hold a valid driver's license and have dependable transportation; truck ownership is advantageous.
