Cloud Presales / Solution Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Presales / Solution Architect with expertise in cloud technologies to collaborate with both sales and technical teams, crafting cloud-based solutions that cater to business needs and supporting opportunities for growth.

Primary Duties

• Partner with sales teams to capture client requirements and recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
• Create cloud architectures that are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient by leveraging cloud services.
• Develop responses for RFPs and RFIs, create proposals, solution presentations, and technical documentation.
• Engage directly with customers through discussions, presentations, workshops, and technical demos.
• Draft solution architectures along with high-level and low-level design documents, estimates, bill of materials, and project scopes.
• Support proof-of-concept initiatives and aid in solution assessments.
• Provide technical guidance related to cloud migration, modernization, application transformation, and managed services.
• Work closely with delivery, engineering, and cloud teams to verify feasibility of the proposed solutions.
• Assist in estimating efforts, pricing, and the development of proposals.
• Maintain awareness of the latest developments in cloud offerings, architecture trends, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in Cloud Solution Architecture or Presales roles.
• Robust practical knowledge of at least one cloud platform and its architectural capabilities.
• Familiarity with presales processes, including RFP/RFI responses, proposal writing, and conducting customer presentations.
• Good understanding of the cloud migration process and modernization strategies.
• Proficient in designing architecture diagrams and drafting technical proposals.
• Excellent communication skills paired with strong presentation and stakeholder management abilities.
