About the Role
Join a pioneering financial institution in the UAE that is constructing a digital-first, artificial intelligence-enabled financial services platform from inception. This opportunity allows you to contribute significantly to the creation of foundational technology, data, and platform infrastructure, backed by strong institutional support and a vision for long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and sustain Azure landing zones, tenancy frameworks, and automated provisioning environments.
- Develop policy-as-code guardrails using Azure Policy and implement cloud governance frameworks effectively.
- Manage cloud identity services leveraging Microsoft Entra, managed identities, and privileged access controls.
- Construct and maintain cloud networking essentials such as hub-and-spoke models, private endpoints, and DNS services.
- Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules alongside infrastructure automation capabilities.
- Apply FinOps solutions including cloud cost governance, monitoring, drift detection, and automated remediation techniques.
Requirements
- At least six years of practical experience in cloud or platform engineering, with a preference for regulated sectors like banking or fintech.
- In-depth expertise in Azure services including landing zones, Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra, and cloud networking infrastructure.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform, covering module development and automated testing.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and managing production cloud environments.
- Knowledge of FinOps practices, cloud cost optimization, governance, and drift correction methodologies.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and contemporary software delivery processes.
