Cloud Engineer (Azure)

About the Role

TMC Middle East is engaged in a project with a prominent client in the UAE and is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to contribute to successful delivery. This role is based in Dubai and requires a high level of expertise in Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities and Job Scope

• Design, implement and support Azure infrastructure tailored for Microsoft Fabric platforms, including capacity management, administration, scaling, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Configure Azure networking components such as Virtual Networks (VNets), private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and ensure secure connectivity between enterprise and on-premises systems.
• Manage identity, security, and access control mechanisms through tools like Microsoft Entra ID, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), managed identities, service principals, and Key Vault.
• Automate and operate Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Bicep, and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines via Azure DevOps.
• Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost management tools for system health, troubleshooting, and budget control.
• Implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategies for components such as Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks to ensure system resilience.
