Overview

As a Cleaner in our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), you will be key to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Your duties involve thorough cleaning of multiple areas such as dining spaces, kitchen zones, restrooms, and other assigned locations, adhering strictly to sanitation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitization of dining areas, including wiping tables, chairs, and floors, to keep a tidy and appealing setting for patrons.
• Ensure kitchen areas, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors, are clean and organized in compliance with food safety protocols.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, to provide a hygienic space for customers and staff.
• Properly dispose of rubbish by emptying bins and following recycling and waste management standards.
• Keep track of cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary.
• Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and procedures to maintain consistent and efficient operations.
• Follow health and safety policies continuously to prevent workplace accidents and support a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous cleaning experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene standards, including safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with efficiency.
• Detail-oriented mindset committed to maintaining cleanliness benchmarks.
• Good communicative abilities and teamwork skills.
• Flexible availability to cover shifts in early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
