About the Role

Kindred is seeking dependable and hardworking cleaning staff to join our team at an educational facility in Long Ashton, Bristol. This role is pivotal in ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, toilets, and common areas. Successful candidates will be required to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints, and furniture.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal properly.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Conduct periodic deep cleaning activities like carpet cleaning and floor polishing using suitable materials for different surfaces.
• Safely handle and store cleaning equipment (buffers, steamers, vacuums) and follow health and safety protocols regarding chemical usage (COSHH).
• Report any maintenance concerns, hazards, or damages promptly.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while supporting team cleanliness standards as necessary.
• Maintain a professional, inclusive, and respectful demeanor, especially when present around staff, clients, or visitors.

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of cleaning tasks with reasonable adjustments if necessary.
• Capacity to follow instructions, work safely and independently for scheduled hours.
• Complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
• Communicate effectively in English; native fluency not required.
• Availability to work fixed shifts Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Additional Information and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate: £12.71.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 08:00.
• Work location: Hollis Close, Long Ashton, Bristol BS41 9AZ.
