Role Overview

We are seeking a Cleaner for our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) to ensure impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards, helping create a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining tidiness across multiple restaurant areas per strict sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitise dining spaces including tables, chairs, and floors to maintain an attractive and clean environment for guests.
• Keep kitchen areas tidy and organised by cleaning work surfaces, equipment, and floors in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintain restroom hygiene by cleaning toilets, sinks, and fixtures thoroughly.
• Dispose of rubbish appropriately, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and waste is recycled if applicable.
• Track cleaning supply levels and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow established cleaning routines and procedures to guarantee efficiency and consistency.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe workplace and prevent accidents.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in cleaning, preferably within restaurant or food service settings, though not mandatory.
• Familiarity with sanitation best practices and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Effective communication abilities and capability to collaborate well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to cover shifts during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
