Job Overview

Join Boylesports as a Cleaner where you will be instrumental in keeping our premises spotless, organized, and inviting for both customers and colleagues. Your duties involve maintaining cleanliness in areas such as restrooms, betting areas, and communal zones.

Primary Duties

• Carry out routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures, including sinks, toilets, and flooring.
• Regularly empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Ensure betting terminals and gaming zones remain clean and presentable.
• Keep track of and restock cleaning materials as needed.
• Adhere to preset cleaning schedules and follow company procedures.
• Comply with health and safety standards at all times.
• Quickly report any maintenance concerns or safety risks to management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the store location.
• Capable of working independently with efficiency.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to thorough task completion.
• Good communication abilities and a constructive attitude.
• Able to follow directions carefully.

Work Schedule and Benefits

The cleaning shifts range from 1 to 2 hours per day, scheduled outside of Boylesports’ operating hours, with 4 to 7 working days per week based on store requirements.

Employment includes life assurance, and participation in the pension plan is optional.
