Our clientele includes blue-chip manufacturers and marketers in sectors such as primary produce, food, industrial, and grocery.
Role Overview
This newly established position reports to the National Supply Chain Manager and presents an exciting opportunity to develop and enhance demand planning capabilities across our packaging operations in New Zealand. Collaboration with sales, customer service, supply planning, and operations teams will be essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to perform demand planning and forecasting.
- Lead monthly Demand Review meetings across three regions, managing the Demand component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.
- Plan inventory levels and seasonal stock builds jointly with supply planning and operations departments.
- Drive ongoing improvements to demand planning processes, tools, and reporting, including employing various what-if scenario analyses to facilitate business decisions.
- Commit to a safety-first culture by participating in all relevant training and complying with all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Risk (EHSR) communications.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related supply chain planning roles.
- Familiarity with S&OP or integrated planning frameworks.
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and demand planning or forecasting tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Strong abilities in communication and teamwork.
