Cleaner - Whitehall

Position Summary

Join Boylesports as a Cleaner where you will contribute significantly to keeping the environment neat, orderly, and inviting for both customers and staff. Your main responsibility is ensuring various premises areas, such as bathrooms, betting zones, and communal spaces, are clean and well-maintained.

Primary Duties

• Carry out daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect washrooms, focusing on sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Empty garbage bins and replace liners efficiently.
• Ensure betting machines and gaming areas are kept clean.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning products and replenish as necessary.
• Follow designated cleaning routines and protocols.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations throughout work.
• Promptly inform management about any repair needs or potential safety risks.

Candidate Qualifications and Attributes

• No mandatory prior commercial cleaning experience, though previous housekeeping exposure is advantageous.
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the store location.
• Capable of working independently with efficiency and responsibility.
• Strong focus on detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly.
• Effective communication abilities paired with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Skillful in following instructions accurately.

Work Schedule

Workdays range from 4 to 7 per week depending on the specific store. Each shift lasts about 1 to 2 hours and is scheduled outside of Boylesports’ trading hours.
