Housekeeping Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Southlands Care Home in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. This permanent position involves working 34 hours per week, including alternate weekends, with an hourly wage ranging from £13.30 to £14.30 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the care home, collaborating closely with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Ensure residents' happiness by vacuuming, mopping floors, polishing, and keeping all communal areas and residents' bedrooms tidy and well-maintained.
• Manage housekeeping supplies for daily use and promptly report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate takes pride in consistently delivering high-quality work and maintaining an organized environment. They should be adept at handling multiple requests simultaneously and comfortable working alongside other departments to ensure resident satisfaction.
