Job description
Position Overview
Join BoyleSports as a Cleaner and contribute significantly to maintaining a spotless, orderly, and inviting atmosphere for both our customers and team members. You will be tasked with cleaning various areas of our facility including bathrooms, gaming zones, and communal spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Sanitize bathrooms thoroughly, covering sinks, toilets, and floors.
- Dispose of waste by emptying bins and replacing liners.
- Keep betting terminals and gaming areas neat and clean.
- Monitor supplies and replenish cleaning materials as needed.
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and adhere to procedural guidelines.
- Comply strictly with health and safety standards and protocols.
- Promptly notify management of any maintenance or safety concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the store location.
- Capable of working independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail ensuring thorough task completion.
- Effective communication skills coupled with a positive demeanor.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions carefully.
Working Schedule
The role requires availability between 4 to 7 days per week, depending on the store’s needs. Shifts range from 1 to 2 hours daily, scheduled outside the operating hours of BoyleSports.
