Overview

As a Cleaner within our Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), your essential function is to uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to guarantee an enjoyable experience for our patrons. Your duties encompass cleaning multiple restaurant zones such as dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and other specified locations, adhering strictly to our sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Sanitise dining areas (tables, chairs, and floors) ensuring a welcoming and tidy environment for guests.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness including surfaces, equipment, and floors in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Disinfect restrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures, maintaining sanitary conditions for customers and team members.
• Manage rubbish by emptying bins properly and following correct procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
• Keep track of cleaning supply levels and notify management when stocks are low.
• Execute scheduled cleaning routines to maintain organized and consistent cleaning processes.
• Observe all health and safety guidelines to avoid workplace accidents and sustain a safe working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior cleaning experience in restaurant or food service settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Understanding of hygiene standards and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and tools.
• Capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented mindset dedicated to preserving spotless standards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
