Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable Class 5 Driver to join our team based in Mt Wellington, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time role primarily scheduled for night shifts, involving linehaul, metropolitan, and local deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating the assigned vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading fresh produce with care.
- Providing excellent customer service during deliveries.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license with relevant driving experience.
- Dependable and punctual, comfortable working within a roster system.
- Experience in operating forklifts for loading and unloading trucks is preferred.
- Having an 'F' endorsement and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certification is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to health and safety, especially road safety.
- Able to adhere to deadlines, follow procedures, and maintain high standards.
- Positive demeanor coupled with a focus on delivering superior customer service.
Additional Information
If selected, candidates will undergo health and driving assessments as part of the recruitment process, which must be successfully completed to secure the role. Proof of New Zealand work eligibility is mandatory; visa sponsorship is not provided. Employment offers are conditional upon satisfactory drug screening, medical examination, driving assessment, and security clearance.
