Project Overview
The Sharaan Resort by Ateliers Jean Nouvel is a prestigious luxury development carved into the sandstone cliffs of AlUla, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This landmark project integrates advanced engineering techniques with visionary architecture, positioning it as one of the most remarkable construction ventures globally.
Role Description
The Civil Design Coordinator will be a full-time, on-site position based in AlUla, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on ensuring seamless coordination between design and construction teams to maintain buildability, safety, scheduling, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily with internal technical and construction teams to guarantee that designs are feasible and adhere to safety, construction methods, project timelines, and quality criteria.
- Consistently verify interfaces with building works and upcoming construction phases using the project's BIM platform and existing design documents.
- Review and compile design documentation, monitor design progress, manage feedback and revisions, and ensure accurate transmission of technical information to the project and construction teams.
- Lead Constructability Review meetings and assist in collating the contractor's feedback on designs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience; experience in tunneling projects is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and communication capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and demonstrate proactive initiative.
- Proficient with design and collaboration software such as CAD/BIM viewers and Power BI.
- Highly detail-oriented and dedicated to delivering high-quality team outputs.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French is additional benefit.
