Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor project or departmental costs, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet organizational goals.
- Assist in creating and enforcing internal control policies and procedures to maintain financial integrity and compliance with regulations.
- Partner with project teams to aid informed decision-making.
- Perform comprehensive cost and expenditure analysis to pinpoint improvement opportunities and possible savings.
- Prepare detailed financial reports including cost summaries and forecasts; support the budgeting process to align expenses within budget limits.
- Provide regular updates on risks, opportunities, and deviations to enable proactive management.
- Minimize deviations by implementing strict cost control and forecasting techniques.
- Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure integrated cost management and efficient resource use.
- Verify transaction accuracy to prevent financial inaccuracies or fraud.
- Adopt quality assurance methods to guarantee financial reports meet established standards.
- Ensure adherence to company health and safety practices at all times.
- Uphold and represent the organization's values and act as an advocate of group policies concerning safety, sustainability, ethics, and human rights.
- Maintain alignment with the core values of Bouygues Construction.
- Manage additional assigned tasks as required.
Software and Tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP and other relevant technical tools.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or higher qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of pertinent work experience in a similar finance role.
