Child Minder

Role Overview

Serve as a crucial support for recreational activities at the property, providing guests with information about available amenities such as pools, beach, entertainment zones, fitness center, and children's activity centers. Actively engage guests by promoting and registering them for these activities, ensuring a fun and safe environment in compliance with facility rules and safety standards.

Key Duties

• Inform and encourage guests to participate in recreational activities.
• Recruit, schedule, and register guests for various events and private functions within the recreation facilities.
• Provide cashier services for point of sales transactions in recreation areas.
• Ensure guest safety by monitoring activities and responding appropriately during emergencies, providing assistance to injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of recreational areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management promptly.
• Adhere strictly to company policies regarding appearance, confidentiality, asset protection, and customer service standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues; handle phone calls with proper etiquette.
• Support team efforts to meet common goals and maintain positive work relationships.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, and navigating uneven or confined spaces as needed during shifts.
• Utilize computers and POS systems to process payments and access work-related information accurately.

Qualifications and Certifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Mandatory CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Additional certifications related to recreation equipment or required by local/state agencies are needed.

Preferred Experience

No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
