About the Role
Crazy Horse Paris - The Dubai Edition is inviting applications from seasoned Chefs de Rang or Waiters to contribute to an exceptional fine dining experience intertwined with theatrical performances. Set in a dynamic and fast-moving atmosphere, this role demands precision in timing and service coordination to enhance a high-end dining environment.
Key Duties
- Oversee assigned tables throughout two nightly shows featuring distinct service styles.
- Promptly serve beverages and light bites during the initial show.
- Clearly describe the prix fixe menu options to guests during the full dinner show.
- Record guests' main course choices with accuracy, noting any allergies or special dietary needs.
- Input all orders into the point-of-sale system correctly.
- Manage the serving sequence of starters, main courses, desserts, and drinks with precise timing.
- Maintain strict adherence to service schedules while coordinating seamlessly with Food and Drink Runners.
- Oversee table progress throughout the approximately three-hour dinner performance, adjusting swiftly to any delays in service.
- Respect performance cues and limited service windows ensuring undisturbed guest experience.
- Maintain an impeccable table setup without interruption to the theatrical performance.
- Promote additional sales of champagne, wine, cocktails, and premium products.
- Assist with clearing and preparing tables between nightly performances.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of food, beverage, and allergens to provide informed service.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or in high-end table service roles.
- Background in banquet services, busy restaurants, luxury hotels, events, or dinner shows is highly preferred.
- Adept at managing large guest volumes under strict timing constraints.
- Strong grasp of service sequencing and workflow in upscale dining.
- Efficient, organized, and punctual with the capability to work well under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail regarding guest seating and table arrangements.
- Fluent English is mandatory; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
Operational Standards
The position entails navigating two diverse service models each night: a speedy beverage and bite service followed by a comprehensive three-hour fixed-menu dinner. Successful delivery hinges on excellent communication, timing, and professional conduct, balancing the demands of kitchen coordination and live theatrical events.
Compensation
The role offers a monthly salary of AED 8,500 along with service charges and tips, reflecting the premium nature of the venue and the quality expected from team members.
