Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an ambassador of FedEx by courteously collecting and delivering customer packages.
- Operate FedEx fleet vehicles on designated routes across varying postcode areas to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages.
- Maintain safety and legal compliance during vehicle operation at all times.
- Adhere strictly to FedEx's Health and Safety policies and all relevant company procedures.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrate reliability and ability to work cooperatively within a team.
- Exhibit energy, enthusiasm, and a strong customer-centered approach.
- Possess effective communication abilities and keen attention to detail to ensure paperwork accuracy.
- Hold a valid driving license for the assigned vehicle type; holding the license for over two years is advantageous.
- Display adaptability to various external driving conditions and circumstances.
- Previous commercial driving experience is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of local geography.
Additional Information
- Working hours are 45 hours per week.
- Hourly pay rate is 14.70, with additional premiums for evening and night shifts (£1.58 between 7pm - 10pm, and £1.91 between 10pm - 6am).
