This position is critical in safeguarding company assets with meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet every customer with politeness and friendliness.
• Efficiently process all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise according to the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) program.
• Actively promote Walmart’s sponsored offerings such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable campaigns.
• Provide assistance to customers by bagging and loading purchased items.
• Maintain safe working practices, including proper lifting techniques and keeping the workspace tidy.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the cash register with attentive handling of cash, compliance with company policies, and situational awareness.
• Refer customers requiring additional services or transaction assistance to a Customer Service Manager.

Compensation

The starting wage for this position is $15.50 per hour.
