Role Overview

We are seeking entry-level Lot Attendants to join Carvana, notable as the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the swiftest to reach the Fortune 500. In this capacity, you will focus on preserving the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles at our Market Hubs while collaborating effectively with colleagues to ensure prompt deliveries and superior customer satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits

• This is a full-time employment opportunity.
• Paid time off and holidays are provided, including a paid birthday holiday each year.
• The starting pay rate is $19.50 per hour, with scheduled increases to $19.75 per hour at 3 months, and up to $20.00 per hour at 6 months.
• Salary increments are performance-based under our Careers Not Jobs program, with a $0.25 raise every 90 days for eligible employees during the first 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate each vehicle for any mechanical, drivability, or cosmetic issues.
• Regularly wash and vacuum inventory vehicles.
• Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections covering fuel levels, safety components, drivability assessments, and ensure proper display of all company and state-mandated disclosures.
• Foster constructive relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and management across all business areas.
• Consistently maintain reliable and predictable attendance.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Ability to independently lift up to 60 pounds, mainly from knee to shoulder height, and carry such weight up to 20 feet.
• Capable of standing for prolonged periods, with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling in environments that may vary in temperature and include noise, wetness, and vehicle-related odors.
• Comfort working outdoors under diverse weather conditions.
• Excellent visual sharpness and manual dexterity are essential.
• Usage of safety gear such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective equipment is mandatory.
• Role requires frequent driving and occasional typing.
• Attendance must be regular and dependable.
