About the Role

Join Carvana as an entry-level Lot Attendant and help maintain the appearance and cleanliness of vehicles at our Market Hubs. You will collaborate with team members to ensure timely vehicle deliveries and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, and cosmetic issues
• Perform regular washing and vacuuming of inventory vehicles
• Conduct multi-point inspections on new arrivals, checking fuel level, safety features, drivability, and proper display of company and state disclosures
• Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and external vendors
• Communicate effectively with team members and management across business functions
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance schedule

Compensation and Benefits

Full-time position offering paid time off (PTO), paid holidays including your birthday, and a competitive starting wage of $15/hr. Salary increases are performance-based and occur every 3 months within the first year:

• Starting pay: $15/hr
• After 3 months: $15.25/hr
• After 6 months: $15.50/hr
• After 9 months: $15.75/hr
• After 12 months: $16/hr

General Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and driving record clear for the past 3 years
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds independently, including lifting from knee to shoulder height and carrying items up to 20 feet
• Able to stand for long periods, with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling in varying environmental conditions including cold, heat, noise, wetness, fumes, and odors associated with vehicle maintenance
• Comfortable working outdoors regardless of weather conditions
• Excellent vision and manual dexterity required
• Use of safety gear such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and other protective equipment as needed
• Occasional driving and typing required
• Consistent and predictable attendance is mandatory
