About the Role

Join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in the U.S., as a Lot Attendant at our Oak Brook Market Hub. This role requires you to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of vehicles, collaborate with team members, and ensure timely delivery while upholding excellent customer service standards. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity with paid time off, holidays, and a birthday holiday.

Compensation and Advancement

Starting at $17 per hour, you can increase your pay incrementally through our performance-based Careers Not Jobs program. Pay increases are structured as follows:

• Starting pay: $17/hr
• After 3 months: $17.25/hr
• After 6 months: $17.50/hr
• After 9 months: $17.75/hr
• After 12 months: $18/hr

This program allows four merit review opportunities each year for eligible team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, and cosmetic issues
• Wash and vacuum inventory regularly
• Perform multi-point inspections on incoming vehicles, checking fuel levels, safety features, drivability, and display of company and state documents
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and external vendors
• Communicate effectively with team members and management across the business
• Uphold regular, predictable attendance

Required Qualifications and Physical Demands

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past three years
• Ability to lift and transport up to 60 pounds, primarily between knee and shoulder height, and carry items up to 20 feet
• Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions including noisy or odorous environments due to vehicle maintenance
• Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Use of safety equipment such as face shields or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and protective garments as needed
• Frequent driving and some typing required
• Commitment to regular and predictable attendance
