Role Overview

Carvana, one of America's fastest-growing used car retailers, is seeking entry-level Lot Attendants to join their Market Hubs team. As a Lot Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the vehicles while coordinating with colleagues to facilitate timely vehicle deliveries and uphold exceptional customer satisfaction standards.

Position Details and Compensation

• Full-time employment
• Paid time off, paid holidays, and a paid birthday holiday
• Competitive starting hourly wage of $17 with incremental increases based on performance every 90 days up to $18/hr within the first year

The pay progression is structured as follows:

• Starting Pay: $17/hr
• After 3 months: $17.25/hr
• After 6 months: $17.50/hr
• After 9 months: $17.75/hr
• After 12 months: $18/hr

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on each vehicle for mechanical, drivability, and cosmetic issues
• Regularly wash and vacuum all vehicles in inventory
• Perform multi-point inspections upon vehicle arrivals, including checking fuel levels, safety features, drivability, and display of company/state disclosures
• Foster positive relations with coworkers and external vendors
• Communicate effectively with team members and management across business segments
• Maintain consistent and predictable attendance

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum age of 18 with a valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years
• Ability to independently lift up to 60 pounds, mostly from knee to shoulder height, and carry up to 60 pounds for distances up to 20 feet
• Capable of prolonged standing, frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and pulling in environments that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or involve vehicle-related odors and fumes
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity required
• Use of safety equipment as needed, such as face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, masks, and protective garments
• Frequent driving and occasional typing required
• Adherence to reliable attendance practices
