Job description
Position Overview
This role involves providing polite and efficient pickup and delivery of parcels on a designated route, ensuring compliance with Federal Express Canada's service standards and performing related customer service duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver packages courteously and efficiently along assigned routes.
- Verify that all shipments conform to FedEx Canada service features.
- Provide customer service functions associated with deliveries.
Candidate Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and handle packages as heavy as 150 lbs with proper equipment.
- Preferred: At least one year of customer-focused business experience.
- Must successfully pass minimum standards on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training.
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent customer service aptitude.
- Capacity to multitask, manage stress, and operate under high pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and holidays as required by business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- If residing in Quebec, bilingualism in French and English is required.
Additional Information
- Starting wage is $24.50 per hour.
