Role Overview

As a pivotal member of the technologist team, the Full-Stack Developer will engage in designing and maintaining high-performance systems for competitive, latency-sensitive electronic markets. The developer will partner closely with quantitative researchers and infrastructure teams to address complex challenges delivering substantial business value. The role demands expertise in C#/.NET and the capacity to balance rapid delivery with long-term system stability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance robust full-stack applications utilizing C#/.NET and associated technologies.
• Work within an iterative development environment emphasizing lightweight specifications and swift feedback cycles.
• Collaborate effectively with traders, business stakeholders, support personnel, and fellow developers.
• Contribute to the architectural design focusing on scalability, resilience, and system performance.
• Own systems throughout their lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and production support.
• Provide second-level production support to maintain system stability and drive operational improvements.
• Engage actively in design reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team discussions.
• Make pragmatic decisions that weigh speed, capacity, stability, and risk considerations.

Required Skills and Experience

• Expertise in C#/.NET framework and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
• Proficiency in at least one additional programming language such as Python or JavaScript.
• Strong foundation in software design principles, debugging techniques, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with distributed systems and mission-critical applications.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools, including Git workflows and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Comprehensive experience throughout the software development lifecycle with a focus on production environment support.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills suitable for rapid-paced collaborative settings.
